Zoey is Two!

Zoey turned two years old today.  I seriously can't believe it.  It feels like she was born a few short months ago.  I am so grateful to the Lord for how He has shown out through Zoey.  She is a strong, happy, healthy, smart, spunky little girl that has absolutely changed my life in every possible way.  Words can not express how much I love this pretty girl.

In addition to turning two years old today, Zoey started "big girl" school today.  She will be there 5 days a week for half days.  I think she is absolutely going to love it.  She had a rough first half of the day (and I did too... I boo-hoo'd) but they said once they went out to play she was totally fine for the rest of the day.  I'm hoping tomorrow is even better!

Of course we had to take the obligatory first day of school/2nd bday pics this morning as we rushed out the door.

Zoey even got to celebrate with her new classmates today!!!

After we got home and had a good long nap, Zoey blew a few bubbles inside and then headed outside where Libby found a snake scaling up the side of our house right by our front door.  Luckily Libby saw it right before Zoey got super close.  Jerrod beheaded it.  Happy Bday Zoey!!! haha.

Having LuLu here has been so much fun.  Zoey absolutely loves her!!!

We were doing some finishing touches on Zoey's kitchen which I'll post about later.  Zoey insisted on painting herself so we gave her a little paint and a plate.  She was entertained for a good 30 minutes.  Zoey never sits still for more than 3 minutes.  We just hung out in the drive way, painting and watching J work on her kitchen.  (please excuse me and all my swollen pregnant glory)

You can't really tell but Zoey got a really nasty looking boo-boo on her forehead... she tripped and fell, hitting her head on there bed.  Just in time for bday pics! haha.

We celebrated her 2nd bday with her friends from the nursery on Aug. 13 since she would be starting her new school on her actual bday.  Here are her buddies Emmie, Ben and Benjamin along with Ms. Karen and Ms. Gloria serenading the bday girl.

I think it's safe to say Zoey has had a pretty awesome bday week.  And we still have a Barney-themed bday party this Saturday!!!

We love you so much Zoey and are so incredibly proud of the little girl you are.  We couldn't be more infatuated with you!!!  Happy Birthday my sweet girl!!!
