We, Jerrod and Abby, met in 2002 through mutual friends. We dated for 6 years and were married on Sept. 6, 2008. A few months after our marriage, Jerrod answered a call into full-time ministry as the Contemporary Worship Pastor. Abby works part-time on staff at our church as well and also runs a small Etsy business no the side. Our first child, Zoey Hope, was born on August 15, 2011. Zoey was born with several medical special needs and had a very scary first two months of life, but by the miracle working power of God is now a very healthy, smart, strong, sassy 3-year-old. We also had another daughter, Norah Leigh, on September 5, 2013. At 22 days old Norah had brain surgery to correct a diagnosis of hydrocephalus. Once again the Lord showed out, when just this past September her neurosurgeon stated that he believes our sweet and friendly, Norah is cured of her condition. In addition to our two daughters on this earth, we also have three angel babies in heaven that we did not have the privilege of meeting on this earth and look forward to meeting face-to-face one day.
We are so excited to see what the Lord has planned for this next chapter in our marriage, in particular through adoption!
