Tuesday: D-Day

We are still on for Aug. 16, as I mentioned in a previous blog post.

On Tuesday morning we will report to the hospital earrrrrrlllly in the morning and will have a c-section at 6:30 or 7:30 a.m. (will find out exactly when we do pre-op registration the Monday before). From what I understand, they will bring me in to ultrasound to make sure the baby hasn't turned from breech position. If she hasn't, then we will proceed with the c-section.

If by some turn of events she has turned (which I'm very doubtful of b/c I can tell she is still breech right now), the doc will check me to see if I'm even viable for induction (i.e. dilated or effaced at all). If not, then we will still proceed with c-section. If I am, then we will give induction a try.

Did you get all that? Me neither. Ha! All I'm really focusing on is that I need to be at the hospital at 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Looks like at the absolute latest, I'm baby free for only about four more days. I am beyond ecstatic to meet this little girl... and to stop calling her little girl and actual call her by name on this blog!
