Termmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Yay! I made it to term... also known as 37 weeks. I'm feeling about the size of that lovely watermelon you see above. The average baby at this time measures about 19.5 inches and weighs up to 7 lbs.
Major milestones:
- Making it to term! Basically this means that if labor were to begin, the doctor would likely not do anything to try and stop it b/c more than likely the baby is not in any immediate danger b/c all major organs and vital body parts are developed.
- Baby gains about an ounce a day.
- An elbow, foot or head may protrude from the stomach when baby stretches and squirms about.
How's mama doing? Maternity clothes? Nothing but! :)
Movement? Her movements are a bit uncomfortable at times b/c she's running out of room.
Stretch marks? Yessss....
Sleep? I've been sleeping like a rock and having some CRAZY dreams.
Symptoms? I've been getting very tired and winded very easily. I also find that I don't want to eat as much in one sitting.
Food cravings? Despite not wanting to eat as much... I still pretty much crave everything.
Food aversions? Still no Mexican food or heavy desserts.
Labor signs? Nope.
What I miss? Nothing much lately. This week my swelling lightened up a bit so that was nice to actual make out an ankle bone.
Best moment of the week? Making it to term!!!!
