Quick and Easy Nursery Wall Art

When you walk into the nursery there was a big bare wall. We had tossed around several ideas and actually attempted a very intricate wall collage out of random nicknack's but nothing seemed to work (which resulted in a very long list of items to return and a cashier who continually huff-puffed and rolled her eyes). During another wonderful and groundbreaking trip to Hobby Lobby, we came across these large black frames with smaller frames inside. We decided to take a chance on a completely different wall art idea than we had originally decided on.

So, we headed home with two of these large frames and several cans of white spray paint.
After about four coats of white spray paint, we decided to add some things in the frames. Originally we planned to fill each empty frame with fabric, little girl's first initial, a butterfly, and a few other things. However, after placing fabric in opposite frames and hanging the large frames on the wall, we fell in love with the simple look of the frames with the wall paint color showing through the other frames.
