August 16

I had a doctor's appointment today to follow up from my blood pressure issues from last week. Appointment went great! Baby looks great. She's a little thing though. I thought for sure I would have a big baby. Most of the women in my family have nine pound babies, so to hear she is actually on the smaller side was quite a different way of thinking than I had been expecting. But, the doc seems please with her development, so that's good.

Only one problem... we got ourselves a breech baby. And, I am not surprised at all. People have thought I was a little weird but I have said since about 4 months pregnant that I had this feeling I should be prepared for a c-section and breech baby. I'm not sure what made me have those feelings... I'm going to say it was God preparing me. Ha! She still has a little time to turn but not much room.

My blood pressure was actually pretty good... well, pretty good for me right now. The doc was happy with it so I'm just going to trust her thoughts. She still does not want me to carry any longer than 37-38 weeks. So, that being said we have a date!!!! August 16! She will either be born via c-section on Aug. 16 due to being breech, or I will be induced on Aug. 16. Either way, Aug. 16 will be a very eventful day!
