Lists and Nesting

I finally sat down the other day and made a list of all the things I want to get done with the house before the baby comes, plus a few other things that need to be sorted out. I thought I was doing all good creating the list in Google docs so that I could share it with J through his gmail account. I told him that this way he could look at the list too and do things in his free time.

Bahaha.

What was I thinking? He very quickly replied, "Uh, yea. I will be sure to take a look at that later."

So here I sit staring at my lists of all these things that need to get done, but we are stalled...

Waiting for the carpets to get cleaned. It's hard to move around furniture and set up the nursery when the carpets need to be cleaned first.

We did get several things done this weekend:

• J hardwired and installed the new nursery chandelier. I will post pics of that later. It's so precious.


• I deep cleaned part of the bathroom... nothing like being nearly 8 months pregnant, stooped over a toilet trying to scrub baseboards. Honest and gross... I threw up in my mouth a little. Aah... the joys of pregnancy. Sorry... just keepin' it real.


• J fixed some things on our vehicles.


• I got us caught up on laundry.


• We bought a vacuum cleaner! Yea!

Wow... life has changed.

So for now, I will continue to work on the other 100 things I want to get done (i.e. clean closets, organize pantry, clean blinds, etc.).

I guess this is what you call nesting...
