Baby Girl at 32 Weeks

This is our last week as a odd looking squash and then we move on to a new fruit. I've had a few of my friends ask why I never put a preggo picture on my blog or Facebook... let me put it this way... I have exploded into value-sized Abby and I do believe that if you took a needle to me I would drain immense amounts of water. I'm pretty sure I would be seriously considered as an exhibit at a zoo if I tried for it. All that to say, heck to the no. :)

Major milestones:

  • Baby is about 17 in. long and weighs about 4 pounds.

  • Toenails and fingernails are completely formed.

  • Baby is officially running out of room so she may decrease in movement (boo).

How's mama doing? Maternity clothes? Oh yes... nothing but. Movement? Her movements are more startling, which I think is opposite of how they should be. I think they are more startling b/c when she does move and shift, I definitely feel the impact and can see the movements from the outside. Stretch marks? I am learning to accept the fact that my waistline will never look the same. Good thing I'm not into belly-baring tops. :( Sleep? I'm falling asleep very easily but still toss and turn throughout the night. Symptoms? Swelling... swelling and more swelling. No more wearing of the wedding rings, which leads to some pretty interesting side-glances from passersby. Food cravings? Everything except for heavy desserts. Food aversions? Still not big on heavy desserts. Labor signs? Nope but the braxton hicks definitely started in full force this week. It is the weirdest feeling. What I miss? I say this every week but once again will reiterate... nothing and I do mean nothing could convince me to trade this for anything, but I will say that it would be nice to not feel like a water balloon. Best moment of this week? I think she may have flipped!!!! She has felt breach pretty much the whole pregnancy but I do believe she has flipped! Woohoo... now she better stay that way b/c there aint much room for flipping left.
