Nursery Wainscoting

As I mentioned in my last post concerning the nursery, J recently painted little girl's room. On Friday he put wainscoting around the room. I really was afraid that the wood details would make the room feel smaller but it has actually done the complete opposite. The pictures below show the room with the color and wainscoting on the wall. We still need to caulk and putty the wainscoting before we paint the trim white. And thhheeennnn... we can start decorating!!! So exciting!

This picture gives you pretty good idea of the purplish/grayish/blueish color we chose.

I am very, very blessed to be married to a an x-trim carpenter. ;)
