Major milestones for this week:
- Baby girl is now gaining about 3 ounces every week.
- If the baby is born right now, she is considered viable and could likely survive (36% of babies born at 24 weeks survive, but usually have severe physical complications)... but I'm good with her baking for a bit longer.
- Taste buds begin to form. If I drink something strange or bitter, baby may be observed showing his or her distaste via ultrasound.
- She is beginning to develop little creases in her palm.
How's mama doing: Maternity clothes? In pants, and should not be wearing non-maternity shirts. Just today I saw my reflection in the door at Lowe's and saw the belly band part of my pants hanging out. That's not cute. haha! Movement? Oh yes... she loooovvvess to kick me in the bladder. As uncomfortable as that can be, I love every second of it. Stretch marks? Sticking to my Palmer's regimen... lets hope it works. Sleep? I've been sleeping much better lately... although little girl loves to move all night long. Symptoms? My wonderful doctor prescribed me medicine to help with my horrible acid reflux. It has made such a huge difference, so eating and sleeping has been much more pleasant. I think I'm entering the nesting stage... I clean everything! Food aversions? Same as the past few weeks... Still aint feeling the Mexican food or the heavy desserts. Food cravings? Salads with honey mustard dressing, cheeseburgers and pasta. Labor signs? Nope. What I miss? Nothing!!!! Best moment of the week? J felt her move! I teared up... it was so cool to see him experience that. Also reaching viability was a HUGE milestone for me and baby!!!!
