Well, we did it. We got Coosa a play pal. I would like to introduce to you Piper! She is a 7 week old weimaraner/lab mix rescued from the Autauga County Humane Shelter. So far so good! We rescued her from the shelter on Friday, and she has been a complete joy ever since. Actually, this is the first time any of our animals, all rescued from shelters, did not have anything wrong with him or her when we took him/her for a health exam. We are praying for her continued good health and a great friendship for her and Coosa. He is getting use to her. More than anything, he just doesn't realize she is small, but don't let her fool you, she can hold her own. Plus, when she finishes growing we think she will tower over Coosa, and then she will make up for all the squishing, chewing, trampling and slobbering. For now, chasing Coosa and snuggling are her two favorite things.

I have to admit I was trying to think of names I like, and I remembered meeting your neice and loving that girl that played in that (shameful "Coyote Ugly") movie. It is a great name! You're whole family has the best taste in names! Love it!
P.S. I just wanted you to know, we really did take your advice into consideration, but we are stubborn and will have to learn the hard way I guess. We CAN NOT wait to see all of you!
