Here lately I've been really disgusted with what I see in the mirror. I know that life is about more than what you look like, what you drive, what you wear... yada yada yada, but I think if we were all honest with ourselves, we would agree that we all want to look descent. Heaven forbid we even want to look slightly like one of the, dare I say, girls from The Bachelor... I mean lets face it people. They beez lookin' good in that "baniki."
So, last night after our Bible study [insert hallo here... I kid!], the hubs and I headed to the grocery for some much needed dog food and human food. As we are walking through the cookie isle, I am racking up on cookies and crackers and snacks, all of the 100 calorie variety. At which point my husband abruptly stopped the buggy... "Honey," he said ever-so-lovingly. "You know I love you and think you are beautiful no matter what size you are, but... even if you eat 4 of those 100 calorie packs, you are still consuming 400 calories."
I don't know what it was about his statement that completely cracked me up... but it is so true. I'm am disgustingly guilty of picking up a 100-cal. cookie pack and then another and another. Til before long, I've practically eaten half the box. What is it that makes me feel so much better about myself? Maybe it is the Kate-Moss-size portions or the fact that I am eating cookies all tucked into to a guilt-free wrapper.
Basically, this entire post serves no point, but for me to confess that I have a problem... Hello! My name is Abby, and I am a 100-cal. pack abuser.
Hey, the first step to solving your problem, is admitting that you have one, right? Well then, I guess I'm on my way to fighting this addiction. Wish me well!

Just skip it and go for the regular stuff. Then you know when you are eating crap instead of pretending that you're not...(she says after a night of pizza and brownies.)
