You should have seen the look on J's face when he took a big bite, and I had failed to tell him that they were peppermint sugar cookies. Priceless!

Candy Cane Cookies for the Choir's Christmas Cookie Swap
We are having a cookie swap at choir practice on Tuesday (oh boy do I sound old). I found this delicious Candy Cane Cookie recipe by Sandra Lee (God's gift to the not-so-domestic wifey). You go, Abby! We had a cookie swap here a week ago and my house still smells like vanilla and sugar. Is it wrong to want it to be Christmas every day?
