Exciting News x 2

I finally received permission last night to tell of one of the two bits of exciting news I have been teasing you with. I had been holding off because I did not want to tell one without the other.

Within less than two weeks of each other, both my husband and I were offered the jobs we had prayed for. My husband Jerrod was first offered the full time position as a music minister at our church, a position he had been working full time for with part time pay for 7 months. Then, I got the call from a company I had interviewed with almost 2 months before.

We have both been so incredibly blessed over the past few months with lessons learned, lessons of obedience, prayer, faith and love. Now that we have the jobs we so desperately wanted, I now realize that although these two blessings are ones of which we are immensely grateful for, it is the lessons learned through the past 7 months that are worth more than any pay check we may receive.

The following two posts describe both scenarios in detail. I know that they are long and for that I do apologize. However, I felt like there was a message I had to share.
