Fam-Tabulous Fridays

Every Friday evening, Jerrod and I get together with his family to have what I refer to as Fam-Tabulous Fridays. We go to dinner and... we have a theme! Yep! That's right... no really, you heard it correctly. Last weekend we went to Chili's and all spoke in different accents, Jerrod was from Australia, April was a country bumpkin, etc.

Well this weekend it was our turn to choose the restaurant and the theme. Jerrod and I finally settled on Cracker Barrel and none other than a country theme. To keep it simple, we all wore white shirts and jeans. Then we chose country names for ourselves. I decided to be Minnie Pearl (minus the tag adorned hat), and Jerrod was Bubba Earle. My mother-in-law actually teased her hair and had really, fancy blue eye shadow while I pulled my hair up in pigtails. It was so much fun talking and acting a fool. The waitress was trying to act like we were normal but you couldn't help but notice the confusion in her face. We talked about everything... from how the cows got out that morning to the loud, big city sirens (pronounced si-reeeens of course). Most people would think we were crazy, but we just figured since we were going to do dinners why not make them interesting. Them there red hat ladies aint got tuffin' on us!

It's hard to tell from this picture, but we are all dressed the same. It was a fun night!
