- Baby girl weighs about 4.4 pounds and measures about 17.5 inches long.
- Baby drinks about a pint of amniotic fluid a day (ick).
- Baby is practicing breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid (wow, this must be the week of amniotic fluid facts).
- The peach fuzz on babies, otherwise known as lanugo, is starting to disappear and be replaced by real hair.
How's mama doing? Maternity clothes? Oh yes! Movement? Yes ma'am! She found my ribs this week. ;) Stretch marks? Can I just delete this question? ugh... yes. Sleep? I sleep like a rock except for when I wake up to use the bathroom 5 times a night. Symptoms? Just swelling... I may have other symptoms but the swelling is so disgusting it distracts me from the others so this is the only one I can think to mention. Food cravings? I can't get enough to drink... water, crystal lite or lemonade. I'm a bottomless tank. Food aversions? Still heavy desserts. Labor signs? No true labor signs but I've definitely been having Braxton Hicks a few times a day. What I miss? I truly miss being able to wear my wedding rings. People definitely give me funny looks in public. Best moment of this week? I had a doc's appointment and little girl is measuring perfectly... right on track. The doc did comment that she was "all caddy wompus in there" so she better decide to flip very soon! The doc said she won't be concerned unless I come back for my next appointment in two weeks and she still hasn't turned. Hurry up little girl! You're running out of room!!!!
