Baby Girl at 30 Weeks

Major Milestones:

• Baby measures at about 16 inches long and 3 pounds.
• Her wrinkly skin is becoming more smooth as she puts on the pounds. She will gain about half a pound a week leading up to 38 weeks.
• Hands are not fully formed and fingernails begin to grow.
• Eyelids are opening and closing.

How's Mama Doing? Maternity Clothes? Yep! Movement? Her movements have changed. Instead of kicks and flutters, I feel pushes and rolls. It is a VERY strange feeling! Stretch marks? So I was really thinking I could escape having marks on my actual stomach... ugh... not quite. They came out of hiding this week. :( Sleep? Well, I think I would sleep a good solid night if I didn't have to get up to potty at least 4 or 5 times a night. ugh! Symptoms? My hands pretty much stay swollen. My feet depend upon the day. Food aversions? Still no heavy desserts. Food cravings? Just hook me up to an IV of lemonade please! ;) Labor signs? Nope! What I miss? I am so excited to meet this little girl that I can't really think of anything I miss. Best moment of this week? Hitting the 30 weeks mark!!!!!
