Bad, bad blogger! That is me. Once again, I return to apologize. Things have been very busy lately. Ever have a month where you feel like everyone plans their stuff… birthdays, baby showers, events, etc.? This has been the case for pretty much this entire summer.
Despite the craziness, we have spent many a weekend at the lake. And, we recently took up tennis. I’m no Williams sister but it is fun. We don’t play by the rules, nor do we keep score, but it is a free evening of fun and exercise.
Oh, here’s some news… we have a roommate this summer. J’s intern is living with us over the summer while he interns in the music department at church. Our house is not large in any case but it hasn’t been that bad. Plus, he brought over his brand new Mac and said I can use it any time… he’s a keeper. I have lovingly dubbed him our “Summer Son” (said in a Jackie Chan-like accent).
This weekend one of my dearest friends, Mellie (who is a fabulous blogger by the way), is coming to visit me on Saturday. I am thrilled. We are going to eat, shop and go hear some music. I miss her dearly and can not wait to reminisce about our college days. ;)

You're back! So happy! (And by the way, I'm now forced to not learn your live-in intern's name because now I will only be able to refer to him as "Young Grasshopper.")
And I can't wait to see you! It's ridiculous how much I miss my girl. You are far too awesome and dear to be so far away :(
